Budget · group · several entities

Taking back control of an IT budget: reading what you pay for, making the calls, bringing recurring costs down without breaking what works.

Outcome in this case: savings of more than 30% on monthly recurring costs. For you, the diagnosis will show what is possible.

Context

An IT budget shared between several entities of a group, built up in layers over the years.

The problem

Subscriptions, licences and contracts whose exact use nobody knew any more. Recurring costs rose every month, with no clear link to the business.

What I did

  • Redesigned the budget line by line, with an owner for each item.
  • Reviewed subscriptions, licences and contractor agreements, and decided on each line with the teams that use it.
  • Converged tools and infrastructure across the entities, to stop paying twice for the same service.
  • Set up monthly tracking, so that the savings last.

The outcome

Savings of more than 30% on monthly recurring costs, without degrading the services used every day.

What it can do for you

This result is not a promise: every budget is different. For you, the diagnosis will show what is possible, and at what pace.
